The island’s biggest tourist centre is the town of Cres, with its numerous apartments and private rooms, campsites and hotels.
The large ACI marina is situated in the southern part of the city port, in a well protected inlet. It is open throughout the year and has 450 moorings and 120 berths on land. All moorings are equipped with electricity and water supply whilst yachtsman have a workshop service at their disposal, with a movable and immovable crane, a derrick for mast removing up to 20 m as well as a grocery and a nautical gear store, an exchange office, a sanitary point with a laundry and a dentist too.

Of course, you will also find numerous café bars and restaurants here in which guests can enjoy local specialties, fresh fish and sea food. A well-equipped sport fields as well as numerous activities such as scuba-diving and a sailing school, boat and equipment hire offer guests the possibility of spending an unforgettable staying on this beautiful island.

During the season there are tours of the Cres Aquarium everyday as well as organized excursions to Rab, Pag, Krk and Lošinj. Recently, a number of guests have arrived with charter flights landing at Krk airport and who were then taken by organized transport to hotels, private accomodation or to the Cres marina. Distances to the largest towns: Zagreb-185 km, Ljubljana-165 km, Milan-520 km, Budapest-530 km, München-560 km.
